campaign question

Post by Agathosdaimon »

Hi!

I am reading the product details on the website and see it mentioned that there are dynamic campaigns - how dynamic are these? fully opened ended? one big scenario? or is it linked scenarios with some branching missions?

Linked scenarios with some branching, but also things that happen (or don't happen) in one scenario will affect what happens in later scenarios. For example if the Japanese can destroy enough Fuel storage in Pearl Harbor the Americans will have a lower amount of ships in the early war scenarios, or when you sink all enemy Carriers in the Coral Sea battle these will no longer be present in Midway and other missions. Generally these dynamic effects are part of secondary objectives.

What about commanders, commander's experiences as well unit's experiences. Not sure if this is random battles throughout the Pacific or unique. Btw is there a demo i can play to check it out first?

One more thing, it does look better than Storm Over Pacific, never liked that game.
