CRC check

Post by Ronhudale »

I've been playing Order Of Battle Pacific for about 2 weeks now. Suddenly I try to start the game today and I get this "CRC check failed. Please reinstall game". Do I really have to reinstall? What's going on. Any help would be appreciated.

cyclic redundancy check

Code: Select all

http://www.wikihow.com/Fix-a-Cyclic-Redundancy-Check-Error

if that doesn't fix it, your hard drive maybe faulty, it has nothing to do with the game, it's a hardware error, or windows one i'm sorry to say

Usually, CRC errors are related with a corrupted installation.
Check if your Internet security programs (like anti-virus, anti-malware,etc.) aren't interfering with the game.
If the issue persists than uninstall the game and reinstall it.

If you are using the Steam version ensure the steam client is running as this is the type of error you would see if something was up with the client or it was not running at all.
