AI production error

Have recently made a nice little scenario in which both sides have the prestige to produce units regularly for extended combat.

To my horror, I realized that the AI does nothing but produce Panzer 38ts....and only Panzer 38ts.

Did quick forum search and didn't see this anywhere. How have others found AI production on production-heavy scenarios?

Will this be addressed soon?
