screen flashing

i got the game last month during the sale i instaled it and run it to see if it worked and no problem.
today i wanted to start playing for the first time since then and the whole screen was flickering even when pressing ctrl+alt+del to go to task manager the screen was flickering and i had to do a hard reset.
after that i tried it once more it was fine but now im afraid to play because it pc i have for only a few month and i dont like doing hard reset.
i dont know if i could be the cause when it did that i was running msi afterburner to control my fan speed.

Never have anybody have reported such issue.
The game doesn't even load your graphic card. You can try to switch off msi afterburner.
You can also do a little test. Try to run it in Windows Safe Mode, and see if it's happening.
Also rename "Video" subfolder to "_Video".

ok its maybe codec conflick then i have k-lite codec pack and looking at that video folder the intro is wmv i sometime have problem with wmv file.
i started the game 3 time and the time it did that was with msi afterburner.

Sorry for not being explicit. The game uses the graphic card, only it doesn't overload it. It's pure 2D.

Maybe it's the MSI program. You're only controlling the speed fan? No overclocking?

no overclock on the fan speed
i rename the video folder now its going directly to the main menu.
it might have been a video codec problem.
also do you know if there is a way to run windowed?

Yes. You've an option to enable Window Mode in the Menu Options (press esc when playing).
