Problem with screen size after new patch

I just started playing PC again after getting back home. I had to install the new patch so I could play online again.

When the new patch is installed my window the game plays in is just a thin line. The game is running and I can hear everything in the background during the startup. I am using a windows 7 starter netbook. I reinstalled the game and it still runs fine on the stock edition before a patch.

I hope to get this fixed I want to buy the new russian campaign DLC.

Any ideas?

I reinstalled 3 times now trying with the new patch and the same problem.

Sorry to hear you're having problems.
Never no one complained with such an issue.
So I don't have a clue what is happening with your notebook. It's something local, otherwise more people would had complain.
I can however suggest, to change the resolution in the launcher settings, and rename the subfolder "Video" to "_Video".
