Buying Tercio to Salvo on iTunes

For some reason the in game purchase of Tercio to Salvo expansion isn't working. Anybody has an idea what could be the problem?
Is there an alternative way of buying and downloading?

I'm sorry you are having problems with your game. Please try uninstalling the App, then press and hold the home and hold buttons on your device. This is a soft reboot, so allow your device to reboot. Then please redownload the app and see if the content can be purchased.

I tried deinstalling, restarting, then installing again...no improvement, I still get the same result (when I try to purchase Tercio to Salvo I get a message box saying "Your purchase could not be completed"
