Norbsoft site down?

Just wondering if anybody from Norbsoft knows the site has been down lately.

Tried IE, Firefox and Chrome not allowing access.
If it is only me then will need to check this end but haven't changed anything recently.

Hi guys,
Doesn't work. Neither does the old Madminute games links. Strange!!!

Must be at my end but can't figure it out. Not aware of any changes. I always clear my internet cache before switching off.

Don't know why it is only those sites (so far). Can get onto my other favourites. Will keep tinkering with settings.

At least it is narrowed down to being my issue.

might just be a local loop issue, and tomorrow it will work or could work fine for you, fingers crossed

Just seems to be, so far, norbsoft.net, scourgeofwar.com and madminutegames.com. All games linked to same publisher.

OK. Got me stumped.
can access the site using my android device, but not using my pc.

Starting to think it is a Google issue but not sure.

Anybody else having a problem accessing the norbsoftdev.net website?

Might just be me but I cannot understand why it is only those sites. [&:]

All I can suggest is clearing your browser cache. Or be patient and wait a day or so, it might fix itself. The forums are up and running, that's for sure.

I use google as my browser on win 10 laptop and my chromebook (exclusively google browser) and I have no problem accessing the norbsoft website using norbsoft in google search or norbsoftdev.net or norbsoftdev.net/forum.
By the way, I did spring for SOW Waterloo from amazon since there was a KS mod for peninsular maps in Spain. SOW WL is far better than Histwar in every way.
I hope your chrome browser will still get you to the norbsoft forums.

Joe have you some protection software (antivirus, malwarebytes, ip blockers) installed which can exclude the ip of website from being seeing.

Thanks for your input.

I can access the internet ok. It is just the sites Norbsoftdev.net, Madminutegames.com and scourgeofwar.com.

At first I thought it was .net related but I can access other sites with .net and .com

When I check for network errors it says I have some Network Protocols missing. A search on Google shows that this appears to be an issue for some since the latest Win10 update. Can't understand why other websites are ok if there are network protocols missing.
Checked my Network adapter, uninstalled and reinstalled. Last night there were a lot more adapters showing in Device Manager but back to the usual 2 this morning!!

Deleted my links in my favourites and did a google search and tried to launch websites from there, still same result.
I had reset IE to default setting a few days ago and thought this might be it but it is not just IE but all browsers I try, even MS Edge.

Strange. Maybe it will sort itself out.

EDIT:
I've fixed the missing protocols problem (?) with a registry fix I found on the internet. Seems it is a common issue.

Still cannot connect to the three sites mentioned.

I give up. No big deal as any updates are posted here anyway. I just liked popping into Norbsoft to see what is happening.

I cannot believe how simple a fix this turned out. DOH! [8|]
After trying numerous different things all I had to do was reset my router. [:'(]

Did not occur to me because every other webpage I went to was working!!!!
Been going crazy for five days trying this and that. The SoW page even loaded once a couple of days ago but then failed again next attempt.

So today I had an epiphany. Thought I'd try to reset the router, had nothing to lose. Didn't think it would make any difference as I was able to access the internet. Voila. It worked.

Don't understand why it would not load only norbsoftdev, scourgeofwar and madminutegames sites. Strange that these three sites are linked by the same developer. [&:]

Anyway, lesson learned. What does this button do?

seems somehow you blocked the domain maybe, but how is another question as routers need login into to add blocks and stuff, glad your sorted anyway
