What is the Pre-req for the liniear Tech Armour Piercing optimalization?

Hey Guys,

Question in the title :) I haven't got a clue... Got all councils (except Secret service), pretty far along in tech, but still says "pre-req missing"....

Hmmm; did you model a tank unit with HV guns? Maybe that's the prerequisite?

We would need to know the exact version the savegame was created in (can be found on the Empire Dashboard Report).

The requirements I could find for a 1.09.06 game are:
"OOB.3>0|OOB.31>0"
Which propably refers to have any armor OOB. Which in return means having a developed Armor model. The gun of the tank should be irrelevant.

thz, but that's not it. I have Light Armor OOB (fielded even) and got a design for medium armor (not fielded).

What is the exact mouseover text of the missing prerequisite of that linear tech?

You have not yet given us the exact version the savegame was created in. We can not reliably answer your question without that information.

The value I gave you was straight from:
Library "10) SE_Org"
Table "130) Flex Tech Types"
column "DISCOVERY IF LOGIC"
for 1.09.06 game.

The most common limitation is other Technologies.
Followed by the Techlevel
Some reference Atmosphere properties
Some reference the existence of Models.
AP Optimisation is the only technology in the whole game that refers to a OOB.

OOB.31 is the "Independent RPG Regiment", not a Armor OOB.
I can not find OOB.3 anywhere in the list (10 is the smalest number). So I would have to guess it is a Militia OOB.

sorry :) 1.09.06 Latest beta :)

the tooltip just says "prerequisite condition not met" the other techs have listed what is needed, this one didn't, hence the question :)

As I read it now, you are missing the Independant Bazooka OOB.
For which you have to make a Bazooka model.

It is a wierd connection, but that is what the gamefiles tell me.

Ahh thz zgrssd, that OOB I didn't have (never bother with it). Now I guess I will :)
