Methinks the Russian Army did not play much Shadow Empire

As any player here knows, before any offensive with mechanized troops great care has to be taken to build up railheads on your border, as well as supply depots, swarms of trucks, and lots of stored fuel and food... lest you find all of your units 9 hexes deep in enemy territory with sad red squares.

I find it interesting that regardless of what happens in the next few weeks, the Russian Army clearly did not realize the critical importance of logistics.

Indeed. What we see now in Ukraine proves how logistics are critical in any war.
Just in case anyone complains on logistic system in shadow empire...
