please add an option to force replace a councilor

instead of going around the bush of relieving wasting pp clicking dismiss 10 times until u get the one u want.
just let me click the one i want select what position they should replace the current with and use interior staff roll to reduce negative backlash to it.
its so unnecessary complicated to replace a current member with a new iv one u got especially if u have a pool of 15+ reserve.

it would also be nice to force a iii or iv leader by using pp. when u use a card for talent where u could do a admin roll + current university level to leverage the pp cost of finding a high merit one.

I've NEVER had 15 leaders in the reserve pool. At most I've had 3 leaders.

If you have leaders in the pool that you don't intend to use, play the retirement card option to get rid of them. Your 'up and coming' leaders should be holding either governor or OHQ positions. When a director or advisor position opens up, dismiss the best qualified governor or OHQ leader and ON THE SAME ROUND place them into the promotion position (you have to time this to make sure you have enough PP to accomplish BOTH the dismissal and selection into the higher position - in the SAME ROUND).

You are going to have a number of governors and OHQ leaders that are real 'zeros'. The only influence you have is playing the 'military leader' card when a OHQ position is open, playing the the 'civilian leader' card when a governor position is open, and if you are in a real 'spot', play the 'talent leader' card if you need a leader to go straight into a director position and none of your governors are competent.

I do think shuffling your cabinet around should be a bit less cumbersome and at the very least it'd be a nice QOL feature if it was more straight forward to do. It's one of those features that isn't make or break but would smooth things out a bit. I especially encounter this early in the game where I might get stuck with some less than useful leaders.

That feature exists for a reason. It is there to simulate the inner politics of your nation, prioritizing leaders with higher seniority, leaders connected to powerful political parties and factions etc.

It's not a bad UI decision, only in the game because no one thought that it'd be simpler to just click on the guy you want. That "wasting" of PP is not wasting it, it's using PP to have your way.

I often float around 10+ reserve pool leaders. I'll gladly pay the empty salary and spend the PP to appoint those high CAP high stat rolls, and spending PP to retire all the bad rolls rarely seems worth it to me.

Exactly. The PP cost is your action points. It probably should be easier for an autocrat to put who he wants wherever. Especially since it’s presumed to be an appointed position anyway where you can fire the person at will.
