1.21k:

SE Linguistics, 75 Name Syntax table row 15 (ingame debug count) is interesting:

Code: Select all

20	21	26	0	0	0	0	13	0	0
Replacing with what Dev Notes _ SE_Data.pdf states the values mean:

zone asset prefix 1
zone asset prefix 2
great sea prefix
ignore
ignore
ignore
ignore
Zone asset hunt
always ok
always ok

While this probably makes nice names in any case, given that there's a separate table hunting suffixes, is it actually a typo and should be 25 (hunt radicals) instead of 26 (great sea prefix)?

Also present on row 39 (Free Folk Hex Name) which seems to be a syntax copied from the aforementioned row, while row 57, which is for naming rivers, uses the hunt radicals table.

The Ammo Compaction description is missing some words:
"We have a clever idea how we could [use] high pressure fabrication to reduce the size of ammunitions. Requires rifles and guns to be adapted during [design] though. [...]"

SE_Diplomatic library, Flex Diplomatic Action FX vs HUMAN table in all text fields:

  • We have sent an envoy to <TARGETREGIMENAME>. Expect a respons next turn.

Should be "response".

A few more typos/disfluencies I found (1.21v).

Ultralight Aircraft description:

Image

"but due it its size mostly useful for recon purposes" should be "but due to its size, it's mostly useful for recon purposes." Insert "it's" before "mostly".

________________________________

Independent lab event:

Image

First sentence. "remote are" should be "remote area"

_________________________________

(x) nation's federalist government turns against us event:

Image

First sentence, 2nd paragraph. "peacefull federalist" should be "peaceful federalist". One too many "l"s in peaceful.

_________________________________

Improved way of working event:

Image

"Adapt" should be "Adopt". Words are similar, but have slightly different meanings. "Adopt" is correct for that context.

Also when a leader gives his opinion in favour of option A. It should say "It's important for the rank and file" rather than "Its important for the rank and file".

_________________________________

The wrong use of "Its" seems to appear frequently. "It's" is just simply "It is". Examples: It's going to be snowing today. It's attacking us at full speed. It's hopeless in attempting to go through that minefield. It's hard to keep our logistics going indefinitely. etc.

"Its" is what is known as a possessive noun, often used in reference to the ownership of something. Examples: Its aircraft bombed my fuel depot. Its leaders were going to be captured in a raid. Its ammo stockpile is being resupplied. Its government is corrupt. Its troops looted the city. etc.

Some more typos (1.21v).

Dome Breach event:

Image

"A atmospheric discharge" should be "An atmospheric discharge". If the proceeding word begins with a vowel (A,E,I,O,U) then in nearly every occasion, use "An" rather than "A".

______________________________

Theft of equipment by workers event, choosing Option B, Leader response:

Image

"i'll deal with it" should be "I'll deal with it". When "I" is on it's own or with contractions is always capitalised.

______________________________

Request in helping fight Syndic cells event, choosing Option A to help the major asking:

Image

"irradicate Syndic cells." should be "eradicate Syndic cells". "Irradicate" essentially has the opposite meaning to "Eradicate". Irradicate = "Root within", Eradicate = "Root out".

In the context of the event, the clear intent is there to destroy the Syndic cells, so "Eradicate" should be the appropriate word. The use of "Irradicate" would imply supporting the Syndic Cells, which isn't happening.

______________________________

Our workers are harassed in (x) zone event:

Image

"hurting the hapiness" should be "hurting the happiness". "Happiness" has 2 Ps not 1.

More typos (1.21v)

Vigilante justice in (x) town event:

Image

"A perceived unjusticed" should be "A perceived injustice".

"Unjusticed" is a past tense version of "unjustice", The event in question is being described in the present tense. "Unjustice" whilst technically a valid word, just isn't ever used. The meaning is the same as "Injustice", and as such, should be the one used here.

__________________________________________

Incident with lack of action event, Option A, Leader response:

Image

"Nah. Dont like this." should be "Nah. Don't like this.".

"Don't" needs its apostrophe.

__________________________________________

Plundering in (x) town event:

Image

"Its almost a warzone" should be "It's almost a warzone".

Wrong use of "Its".

__________________________________________

Industrial accident in (x) town event:

Image

"is causing toxic gassed to escape into civlian quarters." should be "is causing toxic gas to escape into civilian quarters.".

"Gassed" is wrongly used as it's past tense used for a present tense situation. "Civilian" was just spelt wrong with a missing "i".

__________________________________________

(x) leader wants to organise a party event, Option A, Leader response:

Image

"Its good to see" should be "It's good to see".

Wrong use of "Its".
__________________________________________

Improved way of working suggested event, Choosing option B, response:

Image

"The creative bureaucrats are dissapointed" should be "The creative bureaucrats are disappointed".

"Disappointed" has 1 "s" and 2 "p"s.

__________________________________________

Diseased employees could get help event:

Image

"The monetary cost of the gyms is neglible." should be "The monetary cost of the gyms is negligible".

"Negligible" was spelt wrong. Missing "g" and "i" after "Negli".

The outcome of an event says "revregregkey". This doesn't seem right and I don't know what that is referring to.

Small typo and sentence alteration in Peripheral Mining strat response. "Succes" should be "Success" and also the first use of 'some' can just be replaced with 'the' so it flows better in English. Full amended sentence would be "During the detonations there were some dirt slides and some existing reserves are now harder to mine".

"The effect is your will" should be "The effect is you will" I think but I would actually say that dropping the 'The effect is' would flow better. So just being "We are entering a time of bureaucracy, you will get extra bureaucratic points every turn".

This particular inbox item has numerous things that break flow and could be improved. Suggested alteration for fluency
"An Envoy from <nation> has explained to us that there is a group of Traders present in both our Nations, the Traders are decreasing populace enthusiasm for war by selling a wide array of pleasure and entertainment products."

Creature name "Acrobat Raper" - shouldn't it be "Acrobat Reaper" instead?
Because it's herbivore and could "reap crops" or smth?
