Rocket Launcher Infantry and damage linear tech

It appears that Rocket Launcher based infantry do not have any associated linear technologies that boost their damage output. I feel this is an oversight because basically EVERYTHING else in the game has an optimization for damage.

regular infantry weapons - Guns - lasers - rockets and missiles - etc.

Agree, once than majors start using vehicle armor optimization or polymer armor there is no way of increasing in short term the firepower of the RPGs without using micro nukes.
