I agree its not essential, but given the degree of customisation in this game it seems odd that you cant rename leaders. Personally I love renaming leaders in games, it gives me a real feeling of 'value' in characters and their skills etc.

I hope the ability to rename them is added at some point, im a huge fan of shadow empire. I was briefly involved in the beta and its without doubt my favorite game of the last 5 years.

It would be great. Not even renaming but just adding nicknames would greatly help.

So many times I have wished that! As pointed, even a nickname would be great!
