Hey man, those counters look a lot better now! Very nice! You're just missing clipping the corners now! :)

Clipped corners!! Holy crap, you're showing your age there - but I love it.
Consider it done - v2.0 coming shortly. [;)]

Back in the 1970s and 80s, clipping was an essential prerequisite to setting up the game - oft done in parallel to learning the rules.

I was just kidding of course - I'm not a wargamer but I know you can buy a tool to do that.

Just god done playing and man those counters look good. Bravo.

It was particularly important back in the good-ole-days... The physical cardboard-counter production from many wargame companies of that era was marginal at best. When 'punching' out counters, often big plumes of frayed cardboard was left at the corners which could wreak havoc with tall stacks. They demanded a good clipping. Boy, all nostalgia aside, in many ways I'm glad those days are in the past.

Well... "in the day" I was too cheap (still would be) to purchase counter clippers.
So I just used toenail clippers instead [:'(] .
They gave a sort-of rounded look a little like that.

v2.1 available in opening post.
Fixed a color error on the smallest sized counters (used for zoomed out map)
Made the "clipped" corner rounding less exaggerated.

Actually unpack to ...:\Matrix Games\Shadow Empire. The overwrite.

Don't unpack in graphics folder as it won't work. If you do by mistake then enter graphics folder and then cut and paste the graphics folder you find in the graphics folder and paste into Shadow Empire folder, then overwrite. You'll know if you've unpacked into the wrong folder as you wont be asked to overwrite.

Indeed, correct! I have clarified the opening post text to be less ambiguous. Thanks, wodin, for noting this.

v2.2 available for download in opening post of this thread.
It changes a few of the symbols related to motorization/mechanization. Also, heavy, medium and light tanks have different symbols.

p.s., the ones in green/blue color are the ones I haven't run into yet in the game, so I'm not sure what they should look like yet.

Is this one new? And thanks for sharing your terrain and road/rail mods. They combine to make the game more enjoyable!
