WW1 editor no longer saving modded campaigns?

Post by Tanaka »

For some reason only the WW1 editor is no longer saving a campaign after I mod it? Is it just me? Tried the same with WAW and it worked fine. Something seems buggy?

Hi Tanaka

I've just tried to replicate this but my modded campaign saved ok.

One thing I've wondered is whether you've opened it in the Editor via the right Open button, as there are two, and the one to the right of the other is the one to use.

If it isn't that, do you get any message when you try to save?

My guess here is likely your AV software is getting in the way. Custom campaigns are saved in the Documents folder and some AV software tries to protect this folder from changes. If you whitelist the WWI Editor it will likely resolve the issue for you.

Thanks Hubert indeed my Avast AV was the problem. Strange it only effected one of the three games...
