How do you kill tank corps with infantry and artillery?

I'm in the middle of my first MP game and I don't know how to kill a French tank corps in Paris with German infantry and super artillery. I control 4 of the 6 hexes surrounding Paris and have 3 super artillery units ready to fire off 27 shells at the tank next turn. When I mouse overed the tank last turn with my full strength infantry corps with infantry weapons the best odds I could achieve were losing 5 German strength points to zero French strength points and that was in clear weather. The stats on the French tank are 9 strength levels with a readiness of 102 and morale of 112. My units are generally 80ish readiness and 70-80ish morale. I find that a bit surprising as German NM is 72 to French NM of 26 but maybe my opponent focused more on Infantry Warfare than I did. I'm not having any trouble killing French or British infantry so I'm not sure how to deal with the tank other than massed heavy artillery. In my AI games, I've used tanks before so I know how effective they are offensively but the games always end before the AI gets tanks so I've actually had no experience.

My next turn is up tomorrow so any quick advice would be appreciated!

Ah yes my opponent has reached out to the forums ... I consider that a moral victory ... I may not win this round but I'll guess I'll give you my best advice since the writing is on the wall unless I can pull of a Stalingrad level of defense here and Sweden hurries up and joins the Entente!

I have researched Tank Warfare to level 4 (different than Infantry Warfare) and Tank Development to Level 2 already so that gives +40% readiness and 2 defense against artillery. Supply in Paris is 12 which also affects Moral and Readiness. I also have entrenchment level 4. Attacking into Paris with only level 0/1 Corps won't do the trick alone.

I assume tomorrow when you lob 27 shells into Paris (Aside from having to answer to the Geneva convention after for war crimes ... ) the readiness and moral will drop significantly. Additionally after 27 shells the Supply of Paris will drop to 0 and the entrenchment to zero. Maybe even knock 1-2 hits of the tanks value. Then attack with the 4 corps, and then swap units out and keep attacking for a total of 8-10 corps attacks plus 27 shells.

Alternatively, you could attempt to surround Paris completely - reducing supply, and thereby readiness and moral and removing and HQ bonus (Foch is at 9 currently and will be at 10 in the next couple turns).

In Sum,

0) Recon Paris with Recon Planes for +50% boost to art
1) Reduce Supply of Paris via artillery
2) Remove entrenchment to 0 via artillery
3) Surround Paris potentially to remove HQ
4) Reduce moral by shelling (about 10% per hit)
4) Attack with the entire German Army and win!

Thanks archmache! I actually completed the combat around Paris late last night before your post. Snow turn so no recon. Launched 22 artillery bombardments on the tank... the other 5 were for the Anzac unit adjacent to Paris. Then I attacked with the 4 adjacent infantry corps. End result was a dead Anzac corps and the tank was knocked down to strength level 2 with readiness of 30 and morale of 2. Next turn I either kill the tank or surround Paris.

Maybe when the match is over you can give me some tidbits on how to fight the naval war... LOL.
