PBEM Connection Error

Hi,

when I try to save PBEM, I receive the message : Connection Error[15], general error, please try again.

I did, also tried to reinstall, but the problem still occurs.

Any idea what I can do to fix this?

The only thing I can think of here if it is a repeatable error and only when you save, e.g. attempt to upload data to the server, is that perhaps your anti virus software or a firewall is interfering with the game process here?

Maybe whitelisting the game EXE will help in your A/V or Firewall software?

Thanks Hubert. But with Win10, I do not have an additional firewall or AV-software. Could it be Win10 which blocks the saving or is something with the PBEM server? Do you know who I can contact thereto? I am bit lost, I do not usually have the time to play a full round till the end, this delays my games a lot.

Sorry to hear that it wasn't a possible quick fix, I would then suggest trying to contact Matrix support directly as they then might be able to help you out further here and especially so if it is indeed server related.

Hi I'm having the same issue,initially thought it connection problem,but seems ok,now it says i need latest version for WW1 nad War in europe but i have the latest for both?

Hi Grant1,

Sorry to hear about the trouble. I'm a little confused as WWI has not been updated just yet, can you confirm which version you are playing, as shown in the bottom right hand corner of the MAIN MENU screen of the game?

Also can you confirm which version the PBEM++ server is asking for when you attempt to connect?
