Re-installing problem with SC World War 1

I am having repeated failure when I try to re-install SC World War 1. This happens both with my original set-up file and also with a newly downloaded copy via My Page.

The file loads in the normal but when I click finish a Windows Security screen appears titled Desktop App Web viewer stating that the server Slitherine5 (or S?)1Sltherine .com is asking for my user name and password and that server reports "LDAP Authentication". When I enter my Slitherine username and password it doesn't recognise this and repeats this security screen. Pressing cancel results in a message that I am unauthorised to access the document.

Regardless of this when I try playing the game I am asked to update to the latest version but it refuses to run that file either through automatic update or when I try a downloaded version.

This is the first time I have every encountered this problem with Slitherine game setups, many installed over the years including most recently the SC Pacific War version.
