What is Score Based On

The game now gives a score at the end. Anyone know what this based on.

A combination of all these:

Kills = number of units destroyed
Resources = all cities, ports, mines, oil etc. combined
Map controlled MPPs = the raw value of currently controlled resources, with no Industrial Modifier applied.
National Morale = the mean average National Morale of all Majors on each side
Victory Position = the points that would be attained were the game to end now, or, the points attained if the game has ended.

Presumably, that is what the scorecard shows as well? Would explain why the MPP value there is less than the ones shown in the graphs screens for all majors for each side combined. In any case I'm finding it a very handy feature in determining how well I am doing in game. One of the best new features in the series.

Kills = number of units destroyed
Does it differentiate between unit types? Is a garrison kill worth the same as a heavy tank, for example?

Exactly, it is the total number of units destroyed.
