Working on a big update for TRP World, if I had to guess its anywhere from 2 weeks to a month away but it will have allot of AI Updates so far what I have is below, this list WILL grow and/or change

Made it impassabale. Using Desert Terrain as an AI stop now so it wont send troops deep into the North African desert.

The terrain really has no effect in the game as very few places that see war action ever actually deal with it.

Please remind me, the Allied AI is mostly done and can be played against, but the Axis AI is still WIP?

Is this version different than what you have in the Discord channel? Is that one for WiE instead (because I see it is beta 1.4)

Discord is the Europe version with all the update notes above that apply to Europe.

I understand the AI in the WaW for the Allies is default (not up to par). Is the Allied AI in the WiE version any better?

yes WiE version is very playable. It will never be as good as a human but it will provide entertainment.

TRP World v0.8.0 released

Lots of rebalancing stuff here. Re-aligned MPP for all the major powers, Especially the UK who was collecting and OBSCENE amount of MPP.

Lots of fixes in the med, some AI changes and started working on a USA AI. I have not added offensive invasion AI yet to this other than to re-invade its main islands near the USA Coast such as Midway, Hawaii, Christmas Island etc...

- (New) Suez Canal (Italy), can only move transports through while neutral.
- (New) Gibraltar, only subs can use the passing points (no other ship can use them)
- (New) Finland Borderlands border changed a little near Leningrad

- (New) Germany, Afrika Korps, decision is now condition based and will fire if the Italians start to loose ground.

Put out a quick release of TRP WOrld v0.8.1 as it had some major bug fixes plus additional changes/fixes from my current MP game with someone who volunteered to help me test it.

A new release candidate for 0.8.2 was put out on Discord. Has some major changes to Artillery. Some people will complain about de-entrench but in all honesty Artillery cannot do that! I was in the Army and I specifically did Artillery which works best when the enemy is out in the open. It does not destroy massive fortifications or entrenchments.

This solves some of the major exploits where people would just mass their Artillery on the Maginot line to blow a hole in it withought having to loose anything for it.

TRP World v0.8.2 Has been released. Lots of balance changes in the Pacific especailly to try and get the war between Japan and China worked out.

Hi, Lothos. Since you are using the three default cavalry slots (brigade, division, corps) to introduce two new non-cavalry units, I notice that you changed the default two cavalry_movement sounds to regular infantry movement.

Makes sense, though for the remaining cavalry corps in-game, its movement will sound like regular infantry. I don’t suppose there is any way to mod which sound a specific unit should use…

But here’s my question: I also noticed you introduced an entirely new troops2 sound in your mod. It likewise sounds like regular infantry movement but since no such sound appears in game default, I was wondering what purpose it serves? Does the game engine recognise a troops2 sound? Thanks!
