Strategic Command v1.10 "Gewehr" version Now Available

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

From memory it will only switch control at the time of capture... or possibly once that Soviet unit is moved away or destroyed.

Oxford_guy,

See my post above and Hubert's reply to my post above. Based on that port should transfer to Axis.

Even in 1.10? The new rule change suggests otherwise. That will be extremely annoying if it doesn't change ownership until I destroy the unit or it moves away, last turn I blockaded the port, but I don't want to have to keep that up, the old port ownership rule was a really dumb mechanic

I just meant that had you captured that Port under v1.10 and not v1.08, then the port would have changed to your control... now you will likely have to wait until you destroy the unit or it moves away.

I hope that makes sense,
Hubert

Hello taffjones
Have you tried downloading the update again, maybe the first one was faulty or incomplete?

Apologies Gunja as most feedback on the issue seemed to center on the lack of support for resolutions playing at 1280x1024 or within that ballpark not having the weather being shown.

Can you tell me what resolution you are playing at and I can take a look to see if there is something I can do for you.

Thank you for the really quick reply. I am sorry that I didn´t answer sooner, first complaining and than not reacting to the help that is offered, isn´t really polite, but I was so busy with work, that I literally had no time.

I am using a notebook with a 1366 x 768 resolution. I hope that there can be found a solution. In any case I really appreciate the developper support for the series.

Best Regards

Gunja

Thanks Gunja and we should have something in place now that fixes this for you for the next update.
