Supply, HQ's etc

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

Supply, HQ's etc

Post by TSGHim »

HI, im new to the game, i recently got it and have about 40hrs in game so far. Im super confused about the supply/HQ system, right now in NA i have two corps in a 9 and 8 hex that i CAN'T reinforce, then i have the ANZAC corps that are in a 5 and 5 hex that i CAN reinforce? Really confused, i have a HQ near by but its not helping, i also had the same problem in Norway after i captured Narvik. Can someone explain the supply system to me like im a 5 year old? Thanks! :D

The 8 and 9 are the naval supply values of the Suez canal. Ground supply there is 4.
Best ground support Allies can get down there is 8. With a HQ on a ressource of 5 or via HQ Chain

You can reinforce those ANZAC corps but only up to eight out of the usual ten. Reinforcement levels are capped depending on how poor supply is. However, at a supply value of six and above you're in the clear. This is why you sort of want to cluster your units near an HQ when in a poor infrastructure environment like North Africa.

You always have to be wary of the hexes like the Suez Canal that both land and sea units can occupy since they have different values depending on the type of unit occupying them. A lot of the fjord hexes in Norway have the same issue. Maybe the naval supply numbers look good, but the land ones aren't.
