Russian mobilization frozen at 0

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

Russian mobilization frozen at 0

Post by havoc1371 »

The Allies were successful in Finland which reduced Russian mobilization diplomacy. Then I stupidly thought that Italy "preparing for war" would allow me to move ships through "the neutral zone", so it took another hit. But now, 7 turns later, Russia has had a diplomacy of 0 and has received no mpp's the whole time. Shouldn't Russia's dip start increasing again or not? Never seen this happen before and will leave Russia easy prey for the Axis. Well I wanted stronger penalties for violating Italy's neutrality...

Going by recent experience at seeing Russia stuck at 0 % mobilization long term thanks to the Finland venture (and banishing the French communists) I don't think your Russian numbers will start to pick up again until the Axis starts messing about in the Balkans and places some troops on the border. On the positive side you might be able to pull troops off the Finnish border if they've gone pro-Allied as a result. Not much of a compensation though.

Axis player has already had two good rounds of diplomacy (double digits), so Finland is back in the Axis sphere. Russia is now 8 turns at dip 0 and mpp 0.

Ouch. It sounds like the Axis is driving their advantage home. The worst part is how far behind Russia falls in research with no MPPs to research with.
