Steam release?

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

Steam release?

Post by n0kn0k »

Dear Hubert,

I'm not sure if this has been asked before. Couldn't find a topic on it.
Will SC3 also get a Steam release with Steam Workshop / mod support now that u are with Matrix? :)
It would be nice to add SC3 to my huge collection on Steam.

Greetings,

I would prefer to see it on GOG instead, even though i have a big Steam collection as well.

We will eventually release on Steam but initially we want to release on our site (note you get a free steam key when the game releases on Steam). This means only one version to maintain which makes the whole process easier and lets us iterate faster to adjust balance or fix bugs.

Personally prefer a direct release, can't wait. [:)]
