Albania... hmm...

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

Albania... hmm...

Post by DarkHorse2 »

The way Albania is treated in 1939 SOE, 1940 AitW, 1941 Barb, ... is somewhat peculiar.

Albania was effectively annexed in 1939.
Italy Annexes Albania...

However, Albania is treated as an occupied country, rather than annexed, despite the following:

* Economies were merged in April 1939;
* Foreign ministries were merged in June 1939;
* The world considered Albania annexed - "Italy’s successful invasion of Albania in 1939 emboldened dictator Benito Mussolini and brought about an annexation of Albania that lasted for four years";

Is even further weird that the 1940+ scenarios treated Poland as annexed by Germany (which it wasn't), but continue to treat Albania as a surrendered and an occupied country :?: :?:

What this means, in-game, is that the supply situation in Albania is artificially gimped (even worse than historical), despite being a couple hexes away from level 10 supply sources, as well as making the following utterly futile and a waste of 100 MPPs. :cry:
