If Spain joins the Allies, should Santa Cruz and Vigo be taken back from Axis Control ?

Yes, it should be taken back by Spain, is that not happening?

Don't know if this is a bug or by design.

In the editor when you go to edit the Production Queue or Deployment Queue the list of units stops with Motor Torpedo Boats. Missing are Mulberry, Transports, Amphibious Transports and Amphibious Transports (LR).

It's by design as none of them are units that can be purchased.

For background, Spain was neutral the whole game until a few turns ago when it joined the Allies thru Diplomacy.

Vigo was the same until I just moved the I Corps into it, then the ownership changed and the Allies can now use the port [but it was German until the Allied unit occupied it].

I have altered some AI Purchase and Research scripts, and some Decision, Popup, Partisan and Unit scripts. I hope none of those have screwed this thing up. [&:]

Playing as allies vs AI, v1.00.08.
The Siberian troops appeared early in April 1942???
Is this ok? Looks like they took their time.
I had the Germans stopped way behind the historical frontline, could this be the reason?

I don't know, these are Territory scripts fired by Decision scripts but any alterations to the latter might have stopped the ports from transferring to Germany in the first place, so it's hard for me to tell.

I'm running a test on something at the moment, and when done I'll check to see if they transfer back to Spain ok. If not then we might have a technical problem.

Thanks

That's right, their arrival is triggered by Axis advances, but if the triggers haven't fired by the spring of 1942 then they will transfer anyway, as they have done here.

The idea is to have some uncertainty on their arrival time, while also representing that a weaker Axis advance probably wouldn't have resulted in such an urgent transfer of forces from the east.

I've found the problem now, I was catering for every situation except for Spain being declared war upon by the Axis!

I'm playing the Axis against the computer Allies again. I've been watching a Soviet sub that is raiding my Swedish convoy and his supply never goes below 9, while my raiders lose a supply point each turn they are raiding. This Soviet sub may be heading back to port every other turn, so I will try to watch it closely to see if that is it.

Also, my sub raiders gain experience while raiding [manual says .2 each raid] but my surface raiders don't gain any experience while raiding [:(]

Manual, page 53:
"...Naval units ... will gain some supply from being in the proximity of friendly ports, the benefit decreasing with distance."

In case of the USSR sub the sub probably operates near a Soviet port, and this is the reason of the good supply level.

I kinda thought of that and discounted it, here is a screen shot:

Inset shows the Soviet Sub at '9', and I've watched it specifically for the last three turns and he hasn't moved ... oh wait, hold the boat - I think he isn't raiding ! Be back after I check the raiding messages [8|]

Yeah, he is not the raiding culprit, it was a Brit Sub over on the Norway side, and when he got to '5' he moved back to port. So, nevermind that bit [:)]

You are right, I've just run a test and they aren't gaining any experience. Thanks.

Some sort of strange glitch here, I think. This unit started the turn on the Mine one hex to the northeast of Sverdlovsk. It moved straight north, one hex at a time. Once its AP's reached 2 they never went any lower. The unit turned the corner and started heading south [position seen in the screen shot], and again one hex at a time moved all the way south along the Mine line, and ended up in Sverdlovsk where its AP's finally went to zero.

Now that Russia is out, I've turned to the west and invaded the Low Countries and France. The red circled message seems out of place at this point.

There is some kind of a bug about the map views.
In my game I can see a question mark within England if I use the strategic view. But in the detailed views of the map the questions mark doesn't show.
