steam unable to close game/editor

Whenever I use the editor and close it to try stuff ingame, i cant start the game because steam thinks the game is already running... If I press "Stopp" on steam, nothing happens, it just gets stuck on "stopping".. I always have to restart steam.. Would be amazing if this could be fixed.

I guess the problem is that the launcher closes after starting editor but steam doesnt recognize this...

I know that if the Manual or other documents are still open, Steam will think the game still is, and sometimes it can be necessary to close your pdf reader.

Other than that, it might pay to speak to support@matrixgames.com in case they have any ideas.
