I'm playing my first game and I just got the same fatal error. Fortunately, mine is reproducible because I reloaded the autosave file and the same move produced the same error.

The problem is that I can't find the path to the autosave file. If you tell me where to find it I'll send it to you with a description of what move produces the error.

Your saves should be here, though change the Bill to your own user name:

C:\Users\Bill\Documents\My Games\Strategic Command WWII - War In Europe\Save
