Connection Error 6 Sorry You are not logged in

I'm returning to a saved game and getting the message:
Connection Error 6. Sorry you are not logged in. Please log in and try again.

It then takes me to the log in screen, where it has my userid. I enter my password and it spits out the same error.

I presume it is having another server issue.
If not, someone please instruct me on what to do.

Hey all,

Let me join some former opponents in saying "me as well" for this error. I might also note that this error is arising with other Matrix products that I have tried to access today.

No doubt the "powers that be" are now well aware of this problem. I am joining the post mostly so that I can receive any updates (i.e., "replies") to this forum question.
