For those who would like to have an evolutionary version of the planes
They can mark names on the counters , something like this :

6 fighters
4TB ; 4 MB ; 6 ST and 6 "sea"

The zoom out version is in progress, but that's much work than i was expected (not only scale down of current files)
I want to release something wich is readable

Hello, my USSR sprites didnt work in this mod ( they have nato symbols), all other countries are OK . any solutions ?

If there was a wish I had for either the Original developers or Modders would be to include historical unit names for the standard start of scenarios/campaigns. That would bring these games to another level of realism in regards to actual start of battles order of battle historical settings.
After that players can diverge into all their personal choices for unit purchases without names. Just a thought.
And I like the idea of a rounded counter for Air Units too.

I am playing Soviet, but still getting Nato symbols like Jamper89 after putting unit_sprites_nato into Major_04. All others work fine.

Do you play a custom campaign?
The problem I have seen is every time you create a new campaign, the game engine will automatically copy Major_04 folder with the original game sprite (and then overwrite the moded file).
The reason is I believe due to shock Army counter design wich is specific to red army.
Try to copy again the Modded unit_sprites_nato into Major_04 and make sure you are in the correct campaign folder.

Can you try same campaign in single player, just in case?
Where did you install the files?
in the core game
C:\Program Files (x86)\Matrix Games\Strategic Command WWII - War in Europe\Bitmaps\Major_04
or in a user campaign?
C:\Users\Documents\My Games\Strategic Command WWII - War In Europe\Campaigns ect...

Single player Case Blue vanilla campaign and same problem. I see sPZAbt653's point about modded campaigns going in the documents folder. But this only occurs with the /bitmaps/Major_4 Russian units, not all the others, so doesn't make sense. The game is installed in C:\Battlefront\SC3
However, if it is working for everyone else, that's my problem. The other sprites are awesome.

Thanks Daon! I'm thick as a brick. Works fine. I had only changed it in the main bitmaps folder. Looking forward to SIPRES' upcoming mod.
