This is a European campaign game you're either the conqueror of Europe or the defender Europe. This is a no-frills campaign game. It is a long game of about 420 turns, or Victory Conditions.

I am about to release versus 3. Here are some thoughts. This is not a historical game. The game was built around taking and or holding resource centers. Victory is won though with Capitals, but that alone will lose you the game. Countries do not surrender until late in the game and only if capital is occupied. I use the Matrix games system European map, with rail and road modification. Remove straits crossing and add more resource centers on both edges of the map. I use AI purchase and research to add randomness to the game. So, no two games play the same, within set limits. I extensively tested AI versus AI (I must have played turn 1 to 100 100 times or more). For I found if balance AI versus AI generally the game plays very well with a human. Due to script limitations, there are still a few AI gremlins out there. The weak start of the France and Poland is made up by it rebuild. To stop the unrealistic German advance into Russia. I have added hidden villages in the forest. Moscow is need for most rail lines to east. AI Russia leg infantry and horse cavalry are MPP's free. So, any German loss against these units is attritional to the German. The only way the German player gains attritional value against these units it to weaken them with artillery, not destroy them. This way AI spend MPP's reforming. This game also has strong naval operations to even include the possibility of a German Capital ships forays into the Mediterranean. This game system could easily be adaptable to an invasion from the east (any takers). In closing, play this game with no historical background or content. This is a pure map exercise in the spirit of the board game Blitzkrieg.
I was thinking about starting partisan on occupation to slow the German any thoughts (Did not do well with AI versus AI).
