Forcepool?

Post by William the Silent »

I've been searching the manual for answers and looking for tutorials, but I cannot find an answer to my question.

I want to create equipment reinforcements in my scenario.
Expl. Unit X starts with 5 equipment out of 10 possible.
Later I want to add 5 more, at once or over several turns.

Where is the Forcepool with the extra equipment and how do I create that?
I see the replacement editor but I don't see where it takes it's equipment from.
So where would these 5 extra be?

An easy way to add replacements to a timed schedule is to create a replacement unit that appears (usually off the battlefield) in a hex connected to a supply point. Disbanding the unit sends the equipment to the replacement pool making it available to your intended recipient. Note that if the equipment is common to other units, distribution will not be limited to a single unit. If the equipment is common to other units you’ll need to use the equipment editor and make an equipment unique to the intended unit so that replacements only go to that unit/formation.

As an alternative, assuming you have made the equipment unique, in the Inventory and Replacement screen you can designate the turn replacements appear, when replacements cease and the quantity of replacements.

Sorry, the pictures are blurred, but I think you get the meaning.

The Force Pool is made for you. Units, formations, equipment and quantities are based on the OOB.

Thanks.
That creating of replacements through disbanding a unit would work perfect for me.

I'll create training camps off map. The units represent the recruits and when I disband them the units will spread to the frontline units.

Works good, just don't expect the PO to do the disbanding.
