Classic Graphics

Ok, I'm an old fogey.

Will TOAW IV still support the classic graphics?

Best wishes,
Steve

I hope they don't mess with the counter graphics; they are still the best around IMHO. Updated maps will be good though, as long as clarity isn't sacrificed for prettyness.

It would have to be ripped out of the code to remove it, so I don't think it will disappear even if the higher ups want it to - and no one has even suggested that yet. Coding time is precious.

But I've seen the preliminary stuff the graphics designer has come up with and I expect even the old fogeys will want to dump that tired old lady for the sexy new hottie.

I really like the 3.4 graphics, improving these would be really sweet.

I hope they get rid of the .png graphics and come up with something more user friendly as far as editing them.

I'm fine with the classic graphics. (Don't like at all the 3.4 graphics.) Maybe I'll like the new graphics. In any case, give us a choice, please.

So this is going to be a new, new game or something else. I have never purchased this game but this may be the time?

A new, new game - no.

It will be the next iteration of series going all the way back to 1998. It looks like being a bigger change from TOAW III to TOAW IV than from ACOW to TOAW III.

Best wishes,
Steve
