In a nutshell: go to "Order of Battle -- Units" report, then click the little white label that says "Icon Type". The Order of Battle will then be alphabetized by type of unit.
Then click the "Unit" button for the unit you want to go to, then press the "U" key on the keyboard.
Presto!! No more scrolling around the map looking for the unit you want!! This works great for big maps and is just necessary to know to be able to play the huge scenes like FitE.
Scrolling around the map trying to find units is a royal pain and just a chore to be avoided at all costs. This is one way to navigate easily and painlessly and makes the game more fun.
Another trick is to use the "B" button on the keyboard and type in a location you want to go to (either the name of a city or the hex number e.g. 1,1 will take you to hex 1,1. Using the "B" button in conjunction with the battle reports saves a LOT of time.)
