Will the game be updated? If so, how is it going? When will it be released? Thank you very much!

There are no plans at the moment to update the Game. Before Peter got ill he had such plans but they had to be abandoned. Will Peter start to develop the game again? Well, only time will tell.

Tigers on the Hunt -- Is it WEGO or YOU GO/ I GO. Is it turn based where you move and then the AI moves? thanks!

It is turned based, very much like ASL (the board game). Every Game Turn has a Player Turn for Player 1 and then one for Player 2 (often the AI). From manual:

Each scenario has a number of turns played, each turn represents
about 2 minutes of actual time. Each game turn is divided into two
parts, and each part is comprised of 8 segments. Some segments
are done by both the ATTACKER as well as the DEFENDER. Some
segments are performed by the ATTACKER only and some by
DEFENDER only.
