You can't. There is no Multiple hex fire groups in TotH

This would be a good feature for the future.

Allows an attacker with an overwhelming force approaching the enemy to get the right amount of firepower at them.

+1. I think that this is a critical feature. How else can you exploit overwhelming force?

The thing is, it encourages big lumps of units to only allow a single-hex firegroup. I'd imagine the doctrine was to spread out and still be able to concentrate fire.

That leads me to a question ;

from a Stack without any leader, what is the difference between :
- i select all the unit to fire together
and
- i make them fire one at a time

It will just alter the probability of the outcome.

If they all fire together you'll get one shot at a certain probability range for outcomes.

If they fire separately you will get multiple shots at a lower probability range.

Which of these choices gives you the greatest chance for any particular outcome will depend on the calculations the game engine does, and we don't know anything about that. If we knew the mechanics we could do the maths and figure it out for any given situation.

My feeling is if you are firing at units in buildings it is best to combine all into one shot.

Yes, I think you're probably right, Gerry.
