Defensive fire crash

I restarted the scenario that I had the Leader cannot fire alone loop.

I had a reoccurrence of the flame thrower firing during the first defensive fire causing a complete crash.

Movement phase was over, I saved, clicked to proceed to defensive fire, second half of turn 1,AI attempted to fire FT, crash.
This time was able to get more info.

The crash had a popup,

An unhandled win32 exception occurred in Tigers on the Hunt.exe [9416]

A debugger opened and said,

Unhandled exception at 0x0125A2EC in Tigers on the Hunt.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x044B8BF0.

If there is a handler for this exception, the program may be safely continued.
