Hello:
Every time I try and do an update, Avast says it has blocked the threat (above file) from harming the computer.

Any idea what is going on?

Yeah, my PC's anti-virus had a problem with 2-3 files with the latest update and DLC but I just created exceptions. Do you trust Matrix?[;)]

It's a false positive.
Like Hailstone suggested, create exception rules for the game's folder and for the game main exe after you have installed the game.

You can also install the game with Windows running in Safe Mode. This will allow you to install the game:

1. Reboot Windows in Safe Mode
2. Install the game
3. Reboot Windows
