A worthy endeavor, indeed. Are there scenarios to convert?

There were 7 scenarios I think, one playing on the whole map.

It looks beautiful of course. Really wish we had multi-level buildings though.

Red Barricades

Red Barricades (RB) was released in 1989 and focused on the fighting for the Krasnaya Barrikady ordnance factory complex in Stalingrad. It was designed by Charlie Kibler and was revolutionary since it was the first ASL module to include a large format map and other features now considered standard in big HASL modules. Special additions for this module include rules for new terrain types including debris, railway embankments, culverts, storage tanks, single hex two-story buildings, and modified rules for gullies, factories and cellars. As well, two new weapons (the Soviet Molotov cocktail projector, also known to Combat Mission players as an ampulomet) and the German StuIG (a 150mm infantry gun on a Panzer III chassis) are introduced. Three Campaign Games are included as well as 7 standalone scenarios. The Campaign Games include "Into the Factory" (17–29 October 1942), Operation Hubertus (11–15 November 1942) and The Barrikady (17 October - 15 November 1942). Scenarios included were RB1-RB7. Additional scenarios were also printed in the ASL Annual. Prerequisites included the ASL Rulebook and Beyond Valor.

Type Scenario ID Title Date Attacker Defender
HASL Scenario RB1 One Down, Two to Go 17/10/1942 German Russian
HASL Scenario RB2 Blood and Guts 22/10/1942 German Russian
HASL Scenario RB3 Bread Factory #2 25/10/1942 German Russian
HASL Scenario RB4 To the Rescue 26/10/1942 German Russian
HASL Scenario RB5 The Last Bid 11/11/1942 German Russian
HASL Scenario RB6 Turned Away 15/11/1942 German Russian
HASL Scenario RB7 The Red House 05/12/1942 Russian German

I have a ftf game of ASL Red Barricades/VotG this weekend and have been reviewing the Ch. O and Ch. V rules. Can TotH give justice to those ASL HASL's in its current state? I think that you'll be missing too much of what made Stalingrad Stalingrad. I have really high hopes that TotH will remain popular enough to warrant expansions and enhancements and then some day maybe we will see Stalingrad "ASL-style" on the computer (with AI). I'll follow your endeavors however as it will be interesting to see what you all come up with!

I have the scenarios but not the map or module. I would need the maps made of anything that you assign to me to convert.

Thanks,

For Mike and Khandam2

1 - I do the map, I'm the boss of the map
2 - Khandam2 do the mod, he is the boss of the mod
3 - Mike creates scenarios with or without my help, he is the boss of scenarios

YEEEAAAHHH !!! I like it ..

For players who read us and "E" in particular know that it will probably take several weeks so no rope.

for GJK

Thank you for your opinion that reflects the thinking of many.

I would add this:
- For us human beings Stalingrad is a symbol of courage and suffering.
- For us wargamers Stalingrad is the mother of battles with its floors, its sewers, its smoke, its snipers ...
All these things that are not currently in TOTH.
- For us "designers" Stalingrad is like the Holy Grail, difficult to reach and adapt but also pay homage to all those ordinary heroes who participated in these dark fights and if they look at us today they forgive us this lack of ASL.
