Minimap and national anthem suggestions

Post by Sheist »

How about playing a short excerpt of the national anthem of the country that enters the war?

And, improving the lower-left minimap! It currently serves little purpose. National borders can be updated dynamically, and color-coding can be useful at-a-glance, i.e. dark blue for France, light blue for French minor conquests, purple for friendly-neutrals, yellow for neutrals, red for enemies, green for active allies (i.e. currently only Ottoman). This does not have to affect or conflict with country colors on the main map. Can also have white/black dots for armies with a general. A good example of a very useful minimap was High Command, released in nineteen-ninety three!

I would love the ability to peruse the minimap, and/or zoom out and admire my empire conquests!
