Not a bug, but slightly misleading

Post by Admiral Delabroglio »

Hello

If, during a battle, you play the "Good Defensive Terrain" card, the units that are placed in your battle line in the appropriate terrain, get a +2 strength.

Right clicking on the unit gives the modified strength of the unit. Fine, it seems logical that artillery on high ground could get a bonus shelling the enemy line from afar. Indeed, using the "Genius" card with the grand battery, some light artillery with the horse improvement and high terrain is an extremely powerful combo.

However, when you advance your units into the middle line - the no man's land - the displayed strength, in yellow on the brown background color, remains the one with the terrain bonus, at least in the beginning, whereas the right click displays the correct rating. I have not been able to figure out exactly when the unit resume displaying the correct rating, but the increased one can be misleading.

Should there be a 1.05 version, perhaps this could be corrected as well ?

Best regards

Also :

During a minor battle, I played the "Genius" card and increased the strength of two infantry units.
During the last round the battle was fought, I wiped out all the enemy units. Back in the Strategic screen, the two units had kept their increased strength for the picture, however, a right click showed the proper strength.

It also occured after a cavalry pursuit.

Saving the game, exiting it and restarting when corrects the display.

Not game breaking, only slightly annoying.
