I absolutely adore China in WITP:AE.

The amount of little tweaks you can do there to prop up your defenses is simply STAGGERING. In comparison to China, Australia and India are boring owing to their low unit density and big supply surpluses.

You are quite possibly referring to Kull's spreadsheets with links to them on his siggie lines?
Aye. That's the one. Thanks, old timer. ;)

You are most welcome. I had no problem remembering that, I didn't even have to go into my secondary abdominal storage to retrieve it!

A warning to you and others, people tend to get larger starting at age 40 because it is written in Roman numerals. As in XL!
Seek peace but keep your gun handy.

I'm not a complete idiot, some parts are missing! :o

Some heterodox thoughts (scen001, Allies):

-build up your bases to airfield 2, later to airfield 3, so bases can hold more supplies without spoilage. Chinese bases start abysmally small.

-walk out your bloated Chinese corps out of bases. Put construction regiments and 150 AV corps with 27 engineers (you get 5 such units at start) in instead. You want to release supplies to the frontlines, not pent them up in bases with big bloated corps.

Here is a list of the 150 AV "engineer" corps:

26th - starts one hex SE of Changsha
28th - starts one hex NW of Chushien,
29th - starts one hex NE of enemy-held Sinyang
37th - starts one hex E of Changsha, on the main road to Wuhan
42nd - starts in Yenan.

-divide your frontlines corps to A/B/C and put A on Bombardment orders. Thus, you can still gain some exp from bombardments without burning too much supplies when shooting with whole corps.

-some light corps (those with 162 AV TOE) start with ready engineer devices. Doń't trash them against Japs, but send them to bases to build airfields.

-try not to put your construction regiments on frontlines. If Japs arrive in frontline hexes where your contruction regiment sits, always put the construction regiments in Reserve mode to save them from combat.

-at start, China has several BFs present. Their total aviation support is 800! Thus, you can create a matrix of bases, where supplies can be flown in by transport and bomber aircraft. Nice routes are Chungking-Nanyang and Chungking-Sian. You want to fly supplies within China to speed up its supply proliferation.
