The label on the map says "Choibalsan" (correct spelling as per the patch's notes), while the base's data display still calls the base "Choybalsan".

Hi,
Playing IJN ... now 63# turn into Guadalcanal scn, since the arrival of the Kido Butai not a single ship from the "fixed"reinforcements option has come yet...The arrival screen ... it looks frozen forever, ETA times don't move at all. fresh and clean install both Windows 11 and game. Lots of ship damaged/sunk so is this OK or I should commit seppuku? :geek:

If you have save games, go back to the save game BEFORE this started. Meaning, when the arrival screen is still updating. Try loading that save game and running it. See if it will work from there ....

Thanks for your help Pax. No, I haven't any old save. At first I didn't notice, later i did think that Tassafaronga in Allied hands was something like the trigger of ship availability. I just tried from autosave and preturn-autosave but nothing. :(
I'll engage the enemy with one thousand barges :)

I haven't used the .1128beta yet but my understanding from this forum is that it was designed for the Grand Campaign only, not the smaller scenarios. The smaller scenarios were part of the original game before the patch, so they would download with the new game. Can anyone verify this?

Second thing is that the ship arrival screen can fool you with smaller scenarios. Those have a definite time limit for the scenario to play out and it will end on the date stated in the scenario description. There can be ships in the arrival queue that will never get in the water before that date - I believe it has something to do with randomizing arrivals when the scenario starts. This happens in the GC too - the arrival queue is not set until the first turn is run because the player has to set their preference for how random the arrivals will be. Having said that, 63 days is short for the Guadalcanal scenario so it is probably not that.

Third thing - if you are getting the full KB of 6 CVs, you must not be in the Guadalcanal scenario. Four of those were sunk at Midway so only Shokaku, Zuikaku, (Hiyo?) and CVL Ryujo should be available. That suggests the game engine for .1128b does not recognize the Guadalcanal campaign.
