Please put it back the way it was.
I had a similar reaction when that change was made. I hated it. It severely disrupted my keyboard and mouse flow. I thought I'd never be able to adapt. But a few months later (and years now I suppose) it's absolutely second nature and I don't think I could ever go back to the old way again either

I have phat fingers and a touch screen.

Another way to disband a TF is to remove the ships from the TF. If the TF is rather small, it can be fairly fast to do it that way.

I wish it need have happened in my time and so do all who live to see such long patch times. But that is not for us to decide, all we have to decide is what to do with the wait time that Matrix has given us.

Once you finish testing, does it go back to Matrix again?

No, the journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass, and then you see it.

Oooh, testing with a capital "T", it must be important then, right?!

As an aside Tanaka, remind me where you got a hold of that artwork in your signature? I've always been envious!

Ahhh. Getting closer, Testing a few more things.

I have heard that many times before, for a couple of years now.

An infinite loop.

Pleased to hear that the 100th anniversary is still on the table for us. I am so hopeful that it will be released on 7 December 2041.

Thanks:

issues i found in patch first cursory test :

1 -8 December scanrio seems to not have any difference from grand campaign scenario, both start in day 7. I thought the 8 December was with historical results and the KB going to japan already

2 -In Formosa there is an army bomber sentai in anti ship mission. They will never be in anti ship mission when there are the IJNAF around.

This patch dates from November 2022, and has been analyzed and corrected many, many times over. In fact pages of this thread alone are taken up with observed problems, glitches, bugs, and data errors.

I'll acknowledge that you just might come across something that has been somehow missed, but I sort of doubt it.

Its going on 2 years now, and we're still being told there are just a few more things to fix, and "soon" we'll finally see the finished patch. Maybe.

Anyway, just thought I'd mention it, but in the end it's your call, and like I say you might uncover something new.

When this patch comes out and I apply it, it means I would have to start a new campaign right? There is no way to continue games from like, let's say, patch 1126b to the upcoming one?

I think you would be able to use the new game .exe file, but the changes in map and database that have been made might not be migratable to your new game. I have made minor changes to a Scenario 1 database (saved as a different scenario) and migrated them to a current saved game. Some changes took effect and some did not. All I had to do was answer Y to the query about allowing changes to the saved game.
Changing maps would probably not be feasible until you start a new game.
