Google chrome will offer to translate this page. Why is this important? Because these are the Japanese newsreels from WWII. Cool Stuff

If you install the Google toolbar in Firefox or IE, you also get the translation offer for the webpage.

Agreed.
It's built in to Google Chrome. I usually use Firfox, but Chrome is a bit better at this. No toolbars may be the devil, but add-ins are not. I love adblock. Browsing the web without the ads. Now that's living!

I turned my back on firefox about a year ago and never looked back. Chrome is faster (a lot faster), more reliable, and in most cases more compliant with w3c standards. Plus I do a lot of web development and the debugging tools are way better than firebug.

The best thing I like is if you do tabbed browsing, each tab is in its own thread, so if one misbehaves and crashes, the entire browser doesn't come tumbling down with it.

I'm almost there. Chrome just doesn't handle Adblock as well. You can see Chrome being the future though. Chrome seems to a bit more elegant with operations that move to the cloud. I use it at work exclusively and am pretty happy. Except for MS Office and the odd computer game or 2 [:D] I spend alot of my working day in it. Google Docs just an't there yet to replace Office.

Chrome may be better then firefox, but personally I hate change [:D]. For now firefox works perfectly fine. I'd probably still be using netscape if it hadn't died years ago.

Internet explorer drives me nuts. I tend to have like 10 or 15 tabs open at any given time in firefox and everything works perfectly fine. In IE every time I open a new tab the program freezes for 4 or 5 seconds. And I use a blank page for homepage. Firefox just gives me a blank page of nothing. IE gives me some stupid page with suggestions and crap, and again every time I open a tab it has to load this "blank" page I don't want. IE is slow as pus. If firefox crashes (and honestly I can't remember it ever crashing) when you restart it all the tabs you had open should come right back up, though it does have to reload all those pages.

Google chrome would have to be something spectacular to get me to dump firefox. Or firefox would have to go the way of netscape. As I said I hate change heh. I havn't even loaded chrome onto my computer though so I guess my opinion is pretty limited in scope.

yes, I agree. Not sure who's to blame for that, but whatever it is, it does not work as well. The only site I have an issue with is my local newspaper site which auto-streams video. I keep firefox with adbloc just for that site lol

I prefer Firefox because of NoScript-addon.
