Fell asleep before the start, rolled over after it was done and was surprised. I tend to disapprove of schools where the only thing I know about them is football. So rooted for neither - although I was glad Alabama and Florida State (with their problem child quarterback) went out in the first round.

Yeah, a real defensive chess match that one. [:)]

Agree about FSU. Even though I bleed ACC they were not worthy.

I thought my Pac-10 team would finally get her done. Watched Oregon pick FSU apart with speed and precision. But it was a different team that played Ohio State. Can't say anything about Ohio State, they won fair and square and did it righteous.

I knew it was going to happen soon as I saw Oregon come on the field with their new uniforms. All white and no green or gold; WTFO!!! I knew, right then, with a sinking feeling in my heart, that this was bad juju and they were gonna get whacked. And so they did.

Oh, well, what the hell, that's football ain't it? One of Mom's caregivers is from Ohio and we've had some nice words about the outcome. Guess I'm going to have to make her a serious John Reuben for lunch.

Ain't life wonderful? Ciao. JWE

Yep, that's why they play the game IRL. You can never be 100% certain of the outcome...

Living in Cleveland, we've almost forgotten what victory tastes like. Great game, great season, one for the ages.

There truly is no substitute for victory.

Now, back to the war.

I changed the subject of the first and last message to add "OT" for those who are not interested in American football.

Sorry, thanks. I'm not hip to thread etiquette. I take it that OT = Other Things?

Example of OT - the thread on soccer during the World Cup.
