Display Problem - Ultrawide Monitor

Post by The Gnome »

Hey all, received a fancy new Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 (native 5120x1440) for Christmas, and have been trying to get WitPAE to play well with it. I've gone through several monitor and shortcut settings. My system is Windows 10 home, and have a desktop res of 5120x1440.

The command line which has come closest to working is:
-altFont -skipVideo -SingleCpuOrders -cpu4 -multiaudio -f -px3440 -py1440 -deepColor

The issue is that the screens starts to tear and leave graphical artifacts. Panning the map around eventually clears it up, but it's not very playable at this point.

Things tried:
- Turning off window transparency
- Various different resolutions
- Windowed mode
- Manually setting monitor mode to match -px -py aspect ratio

Any help would be helpful, I'm out of ideas at this point.

You might want to use the -pxf3440 -pyf1440 switch.

Also, -archive to save the daily reports separately,

-fd for daily autosaves,

also try the -dd_sw switch.

It might also be a problem with the graphics card.

My switches:

War in the Pacific Admiral Edition.exe" -wd -dd_sw -SingleCpuOrders -deepColor -archive -AltFont -pxf1368 -pyf768
Seek peace but keep your gun handy.

I'm not a complete idiot, some parts are missing! :o
