Resources for Allied pilots Dec 1941

I'm fiddling with a modification to the 1941 Grand Scenario, and one of the things I'm trying to do is get names for the various Allied pilots in the squadrons at the outbreak of the war. The current database has a number of lacunae in it. No VB-6, although the rest of EAG is there, no VT-8 (of all squadrons!) although the rest of HAG is there. Those two I could find rummaging around on the 'net (there are photos of the squadrons with the pilot names in the subtitles), but some groups (like most of LAG except for VF-2) are not turning up in my Google searches.

Now, for USN VF squadrons, John Lundstom's two books about the First Team provide all the fighter pilots (or most of them, anyway), but there is no similar resource of which I am aware that does the same for the VS, VB, and VT squadrons, to say nothing of the various USAAF squadrons or other allies. I was wondering if anybody here has some go-to resources for information like this. Short of a visit to the Naval Archives, of course, I'm looking for something net-friendly (although a book or books would do).
