You should ban him so we can talk about the sneaky things you will be doing.
Yes. All the sneaky things that he will be doing. Like [speaks in soft conspiratorial whisper] putting out a turn...
Shhh....

That would never happen here!
RE: The Gorn Supremacy; stock AW1Steve v. geofflambert
Absolutely. I would never, ever post on a thread that had anything happening. To start playing now would make a mockery of everything. [:D]ORIGINAL: pws1225

I for one would be very upset if something actually happened here.
All over the forum I visit threads - WITP-AE, MWIF, SC, DC:B etc - all have one thing in common; AAR threads that are packed to the gills with fights, battles, campaigns, they spout heroic deeds of wartime derring-do from the earliest of times to post Hiroshima warfare, from the depth of the ocean to the mountains of Nepal. War, war, war.
Frankly I come here to this thread to get away from all that killing and general unpleasantness.

I'm glad you find me so pleasant. Did you know that scaly reptiles are carriers of stinky salmonella? Ever had food poisoning?
RE: The Gorn Supremacy; stock AW1Steve v. geofflambert
I do not eat reptiles.

Gandalf the grey tells me I cannot have a game unless I follow the River Des Peres down to the River Anduin. I must cross that and head for the Black Gate of Mordor where Steve may or may not send his chariot to collect me.

I don't find you pleasant at all, after all, Gorns reputations come before them, and the roughness of the skin - not to mention the Salmonella aspect - has never appealed.
What I mean is, I come here when I want to relax and get away from warfare and killing as I know that there will be no such thing taking place on this thread.
Seriously though, I am pleased to read that you and AW1Steve have a plan to get this started.

Plan? This is news to me. I wonder when Geoff was going to let me in on "our" plan. [:(]

Well apologies, but the last posts on this that I read were post 670 from you when you spelled out a way forward, and then 673 from the Gorn, which read:
Communication received and replied to. We'll work this out soon.
Now call me stupid, but I assumed that that meant your way forward had been received, acknowledged and replied to.
If I was wrong well sorry but I'm not a mind reader.
