Caroline Is: I have fake troop transport parading around Truk and Ponape to try to provoke a carrier battle but the KB won't come over to to play. I don't think they are going to fight over Truk or Ponape. I can't believe the same is true for Guam, however.

Good suggestion. Unfortunately, the TD Bn's are down to 2 1/2 ton trucks and the Tank Bn is down to one Stuart. No foot mobile troops left in those units. Getting out the HQ guys, clerk/typists, aviation support and 182nd IR and Br 54 Brig remnants.
